"Turkey has left a very strong impression on us. Most of all it is of the friendliness and openness of its people. The people you meet all seek to engage you, whether it's a simple "where are you from?" or the friendly smile of a policeman I met during one of our first days in Istanbul. The smile in his eyes met mine and spread to the rest of his face as he saw this Canadian family walking down the street."
